Hi ladies, I researched Endo-Ex and decided to try this herbal supplement for reducing my pain, and ideally the root of the endo.
It contains Vitex (chasteberry), Dong Quai, Milk Thistle, Wild Yam and Viburum op 30C.
It comes in a brown glass bottle in tincture form, to be taken 3x daily, 10-15 drops each time in 1/4 cup water. I took my first dose this morning and the taste was not bad.
Any other ladies tried and hopefully have positive results over time? Their site, nativeremedies.com, mentions results could take up to 6 months but progress can be seen in the first cycle, which gives me hope.
All the best.

Hi Elleche, I haven't heard of or tried this, but when i was seeing a naturpoath last year, she made me a herbal mixture and one of the ingridients in it was chaste, which is apparently good for uterine conditions and regulating periods and so on.
It was hard for me to tell if the mixture (and that ingridient in particular) actually helped, however it did make me feel a bit better in general, and slightly more engerised.
I hope you get some results from it, let us know how it goes!

Rach, Thanks for your response. I have started taking Endo-Ex since 1/28. While it is very likely too early to see results, I am hoping it will positively impact my next cycle. I have felt pretty good the last 48 hrs and had a high energy level - which could be a result of my diet and other supplements (Multivitamin & calcium daily).
I appreciate your support and I hope to have good news to report soon!

My wife has just ordered Endo-EX (3 bottles for the price of 2 deal). Please update us on your progress and we'll do the same.

Hello there,
It's good to hear you've found some hope.
Vitex is only to be taken for a maximum of six months. Wild Yam should be avoided in endometriosis, as although it can increase wellbeing initially, it's oestrogenic and many women's symptoms have worsened with it.
Note that neither of these preparations can be taken with any type of Pill: neither the combined Pill nor the progestin Pill (mini Pill).
I recommend seeking out a registered medical herbalist rather than self-medicating. Are you a member of one of the main Endometriosis organisations? In the US there is the American Endometriosis Association and in the UK there is the Endometriosis SHE Trust which is the holistic organisation. These bodies send out regular newsletters to their readers and encourage sharing of information and feedback from members and conduct research among them.
All the best.

I used this treatment but couldn't stand the taste of it. I thought it tasted awful! After about one week I started to feel some cramping (I thought that maybe the cramping was some indication that it was working) but by then the taste just made me gag every time so I had to stop. It would be nice to know if anyone has had good results with this medicine.

My wife has still not gone a full cycle yet with Endo-Ex so we're not sure if it's helped yet but she has felt a little nauseous ever since she started taking it. She has reduced her dose to try and get the good effects while reducing the bad. We'll keep updating this thread with her progress.

Is your wife going to post, too? Probably not, she often sits beside me when I post though. I just thought I'd update on her progress. She has actually gotten worse on her previous 2 Aunt Flo's. So she has discontinued the Endo-EX. She decided to just concentrate on her Chinese Herbs/Accupuncture for the entire last cycle but that doesn't seem to have worked either (she has now been going to a chinese accupunturist for about 5 months). So, she is going to continue 1 more month of chinese herbs and if there is no improvement, that will stop too. We continue on the Endo Diet and look for other alternative therapies.
