Hi - After doing a search online last night as to which one is in the news' top picks, I ordered Viva Acai. Has anyone read about this or tried it. It's supposed to be a really great super food. I was just curious if anyone with endo has tried it?? I did a search on here but couldn't find anything. Sorry if there is something.

I've had drinks with Acai in it. I know it is one of the new "super foods" but I didn't know it was supposed to do anything for endo. Since I wasn't on a regiment or anything, I don't know if it did anything special for me or not, but I really liked the smoothies it was in.

Hey, thanks for replying....really, you were in Ames? Feel free to look me up or give me a call (write me an message on this forum if you want my phone number). I'm not sure that acai fruit is supposed to directly help endo., but I've read it reduces inflamation and helps rid the body of toxins. That couldn't hurt us any I doubt. As soon as my order arrives, I'm going to try it. We'll see if it gives me more energy like it says.

I havent heard anything But i know that the Acai Berry provides alot of vitams that help releve pain for endo... CBS said this "Acai berries are among the most nutritious foods of the Amazon, rich in B vitamins, minerals, fiber, protein and omega-3 fatty acids. Acai berries also contain oleic acid (omega-9), a beneficial fatty acid (often mistakenly referred to as essential)"
From all of my research all of those vitamins can help with pain. Im goning to try it see if it works

I have tried it. I have never heard that it helps with pain but anything is worth a try. It does taste very sweet so you have to dilute it with water.
