Well, my first week back at work = major FAIL. I feel awful. SOOOOOOOOO many bad things here, and it's hard to stay organized enough or have enough energy at the end of the day to get lunches together. Any advice??? Thanks Leisa

Make enough for the whole week on the weekend. Cut up fruits and veggies and store them in a container, then just scoop out enough for that day.

Make yourself a 'trail mix' to snack on: almonds, other nuts, seeds, etc already mixed together. Keep a bottle of water on your desk so you are reminded often to drink lots of water. Think of some 'cheat' meals that you can have stashed in your desk or make easily and quickly-things like toasted sanwiches (if you have found a wheat free bread, i love one that is made from sprouted mixed grains and flour free), gluten free veggie soups, crackers that you can have avacado or hommus with, etc. Hope this helps....most importantly, don't beat yourself up too much if you have a bad food day, just start again tomorrow

Another tip that i'll be doing a lot now that's its coming to the warmer months in Ozland, at the start of the week make up a big bowl of salad, and then just take enough for lunch each day. It makes it so quick and easy to have a healthy meal. Just make sure all your ingriedients are super fresh so they last out the week, and keep your dressing seperate so it doesn't all go soggy.

Yes, definitely spend the weekend cooking in bulk and buy hundreds (well, lots anyway) of small plastic containers you can refrigerate or freeze in meal sized portions. On the way to work, my wife takes one out of the fridge/freezer to heat in the microwave at work. For Breakfast, she has a huge bowl of fruit salad I sometimes make her the night before as we are often not morning people.
