I have not been diagnosed yet...still waiting for my appointment at the end of Febuary. But I have this persistant pain by my left ovary. It feels like a grapefruit there?? I have sharp pains and then pain shooting down my left thigh. I have back pain like someone just kicked me. But do any of you feel like there is something there??? I have had CT scan, bloodwork, Vag ultra sound and they see nothing. But why can I feel it inside??? It feels like it has it's own heartbeat and throbs. Anyone else experience this??? I just feel like I am going crazy and because it has not shown up on a scan.

Hi Trish,
I felt the exact same way before I was diagnosed. It took them 2 years to diagnose me since there was nothing showing up on any of my tests either. The thing is though is that you are clearly hearing your body tell you that something isn't right. Also, 99% of the time endo will not show up on scans or ultrasound since there are too many things in there that are the same colour etc. The only way to tell forsure is to have them do the lap. Once I had that done they finally believed all that I told them I felt. Your pain sound like classic endo. I hope you find all the answers you need.

Again Thanks Angela!! I just feel like I am loosing my mind. Wow...2 yrs before they diagnosed you. That must have been tough!!!
I just keep telling them where it hurts and the Dr's say there is nothing there. It just makes you feel like I am crazy. It makes you really doubt the pain when Dr's do not take the time and just send you home with pain meds.
It is real, it is there!
