Has any one seen this type of doctor before? i'd like to know what to expect.

Hi Julie, you mean personality wise? A friend of mine is seeing one for her Crohn's disease and she's happy with him. He takes her seriously, listens to her and she trusts his advice. It's pretty big stuff these dr's are dealing with, removing parts of the colon etc, so it's nice that this person seems to understand how huge this is for his patients. He even takes a neutral stance toward the alternative approaches she is taking in parallel, leaving it totally up to her and just focussing on his own shop. Which I think is how it should be! but not all dr's are like that still unfortunately.

sept 8th. My GI doctor says there are several tests they can do before it gets to the surgery point. Im not looking forward to having my third surgery in three years.
