Hello there , Have any ladies here been prescribed the immunosuppressants Cyclosporin or Azathioprine for atopic eczema, rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis, psoriasis or cancer? If so, how were your Endometriosis symptoms while you were on the drug? I'm facing the very real prospect of these drugs for chronic eczema and would like to hear from other women. I realise the side effects can be troublesome: nausea, hairloss and susceptibility to infection and the need for close monitoring and regular blood tests.

Hello. I just noticed this post. I am on Prograph - a form of immunosuppressant drug due to having a liver transplant. However, I've been on this drug as well as cyclosporin for a short time about 20 years, long before I was ever diagnosed with endo so I'm sorry I'm unable to tell you how it's effected my endo. However, if you have any questions about Cyclo feel free to ask... sorry I can't be more help. Take Care!

I've been seen by the dermatologist today and prescribed Cyclosporin and a two-week course of antibiotics to begin immediately. From reading the list of side effects I was given, I'm terrified to take it, even though I'm in desperate need of relief and sleep ("a break from this relentless assault on your body" as the consultant said).
