Warm compresses are good as are warm showers.

Oh, and just from having large breasts... I've been told its NOT good to keep a bra on 24/7. It can cause your breasts to swell. It's always a good idea to give them a break. Even if it's just to a bra that will work at night. Don't keep the ladies hidden all day That's what I was told, anyway.

I had very sore breasts my first trimester, too. I'm small chested (at 34 weeks preg, I'm just a 36C, which is big for me), but I found that gentle massage circling the breasts was very relieving. My husband didn't seem to mind, either. ;-)

My mom told me cold lettuce leaves, and warm tea bags... It sounds strange but the natural hormones in some teas can help relieve that pressure in the chi-chi's... I never tried the lettuce... Seemed strange to be putting a salad in my bra, but the tea bags did help. Just make a cup of tea and use a nursing pad to hold it in place and avoid staining the bra.
Hope that helps some.

I would personally ditch the bra. I gave up on them years ago. It's been said that they obstruct the lymph system which is the only way toxins can be eliminated from the breasts. This is why bras are claimed to help cause breast cancer.
That being said, the only time my breasts hurt during pregnancy was when they were touched, even lightly. Thankfully, the weight of my clothing usually wasn't too bad. I had hoped a warm shower with low water pressure would help, but it actually hurt a little. The worst for me was accidentally rolling onto them while laying down.
