I hope this is the right spot for this...
So, we know that dioxins are bad for everyone and especially for endo, and we are told that dioxins pass on to a baby through breast milk.
Does that mean we should reconsider breastfeeding our daughters? I am all for breastfeeding and would hate to mess with nature, but this issue has got me thinking.
Would bottle feeding be any better? Or would there be just as many dioxins and disadvantages with this unnatural commercially processed method?
Would love to hear what you all think.

I've read that flame retardant from mattresses is being found in breastfed babies. I guess when we sleep on the treated mattresses, it soaks into our skin? Scary!
Even though we may pass dioxins on, I'm still going to breastfeed for all of the antibodies that are passed. Formula won't give your baby your antibodies or anything like that.
If you do have to bottlefeed (even if you pump), be sure to buy glass bottles, as the plastic ones contain dioxin, too! Eeeek!

I agree, i think the benefits far outweigh the risks.
Guess the healthier you are, the healthier bub is too, guess its the best we can do, coz there are so many things in this world bub will be exposed to. We cant protect them completely, just give them a good start. I think breastfeeding as long as possible will do that.
