After almost 2 years of trying, I finally found out I'm pregnant on Saturday (5 weeks). However, I'm still having the "normal" pain and cramping I would have experienced had I gotten my period, and some spotting yesterday. I took another test this a.m., and it also showed I'm pregnant. I thought endo went away with pregnancy? Anyone else experience this? I'm quite worried...Thanks for any help!

Pregnancy isn't the end all the Endo. It doesn't really "go away", per say, rather - it might lie dormant. Pregnancy should not be used as a cure, but usually Drs recommend it because even though women can (and have) conceived with Endo, it's all a waiting/guessing game.
I'd say you most likely are experiencing normal pregnancy pains. You uterus has some growing to do, so it might be getting started on that!!
The girls here who have little ones know lots more, but if you want to read ahead, go over to our infertility/fertility forum. You'll find a world in useful info over there I'm sure!
Welcome and congrats on the pregnancy!

I've moved this thread to the Fertility/Infertility forum. First, a HUGE congrats, bandwidow!!! How exciting! Cramping like you're going to get your period is a common sign of both implantation cramps and ligaments stretching. I had this off-and-on even into the 5th month or so! One time it was so bad that I was on the floor in a ball, for sure I was having a miscarriage. Nope. Just my ligaments stretching. Bleeding is also common. I've known tons of women who have had bleeding. You can get it with implantation or just on its own. I think I've read about 50% of women bleed with it. I didn't bleed, but my best friend did. She actually thought she was having her period, but it was just implantation bleeding. If you are worried, you can go to your OBGYN and have your progesterone levels checked and also hCG. It's actually a great idea for any woman, I'd say! I had mine done, and it gave me a great sense of relief. Congrats again!!!
