Well, I had my six month post op appt today. I already suspected that at least one cyst had returned, and it seemes that I was right. My Gyno did a quick vag sono and found about a 2 cm mass, and another one as well. She is sending me for a more complete and better one, and then we will discuss were we are going from there. She strongly suggested that I try Lupron now, but there is no way I am going to do that! The other options are a complete oopherectomy or a partial oopherectomy and then some more drugs, such as depo provera. Whatever course we take at this point is going to be difficult and depressing. I'm voting for the complete oopherectomy, but the side effects for the heart are very concerning since I have congenital heart disease. My husband doesn't want me to do anything "drastic". And I know that he is very concerned about my heart (and his if I leave him too soon). I guess I'm also frustrated, upset, and angry. I go through a full abdominal surgey six months ago, and I could possibly have to do it again in the first part of the new year. This just SUCKS! Any words of wisdom and support would be really appreciated right now! Snapple

Hi Snapple,
I have a cyst again too - I had ovarian pain start up again (the pinching and pulling) about three months ago, which is just three months after my second surgery! I have an IUD so there is a chance that it is a "simple cyst". My doctor and I are trying the "wait and see" approach right now. He wants to drain it but I am content to have another ultrasound in a month.
My cyst is 3cm and is probably rubbing against my colon. Hurts like the dickens. I have no words of wisdom, just empathy.

I have my surgery back in march and after two months the cysts are back and are getting larger. I have been trying to hold of on surgery as long as I can. Each month the pain is more apparant and it just sucks. I just try to stay strong and I don't understand why I was dealt with these cards but endo isn't the worst thing in the world, it could be worse for us in other ways. Carrie
