Are there any other ladies out there in the early stages of endo. I know there a lot with much more extreme coverage than mine, however it still causes me so much pain that I cry, strange in comparison to the fact that it was found in Feb only around my womb. Thing is I know sometimes my doctor looks at me and thinks 'why are you complaining' I know that in relation to other women who are going through hysterectomies and infertility I have a lot to be thankful for but it's like the doctor is unwilling to engage in any serious discussion with me about my treatment until it worsens! I want to stop it in its tracks as much as I can while I know my fertility is still intact, while I can still pursue the career I want, while I still have the courage in me to fight like a terrier against everything it does to me mentally and physically. As someone said, they might see it everyday but we are individuals, we are not everyone else. I might not been in the later stages but i have nightmares about the day that finally happens...

I have early stages, and I feel like my doctors think im crazy. My one doctor says.. " now Julie, i've told you this before. your ovaries job is to make cysts) ( i also have cyst problems) and i just want to slap him up the head and say, yeah its completely normal for me to be curled up in a ball crying my brains out every month because its my ovaries job to make it hurt that bad?? NUT CASE. anyways, when i had my lap, my doctor didnt come out and say i had endo. All signs and symptoms lead to it. Both my ovary and my fall, tube were adhered to my pelvic wall.. HELLO ENDO!! lol. I just started a new job and had to tell my boss my "monthly" problems. Thank god she was female and had a friend with the same disease. I was terribly worried that i wouldnt be able to hold down a reg. job b/c i had been in so much pain. I started a new 'diet' about two weeks ago, completely organic. everything organic. It seems to be helping me, when i eat something thats not i def. notice a pain increase within a couple of hours. It's hard to find a good doctor, mine tried to put me on Lupron he said it was my last resort since i wasnt responding to BC very well. Hang in there Cherry, you'll find one that understands, just try and find a doc that specializes in endo and other fertility probs.

I see the old fart again December so he's in for a surprise as the 2 times he's seen me I've been on a trolley going for my lap, and then again for my diagnosis where I cried out of shoch and an instant of self pity. this time I have an agenda and a few harsh words if he's going to talk to me like an idiot again. Being told 'it's not like you've got cancer' isn't very comforting when all you can think of is no babies and the pain you're facing. And the family history of endo cancer was fresh in my mind so thats another slap in the head someone needs! For years I had consultants who refused to accept that my symptoms were anything more than a little girl getting all scared about her periods. This is at the biggest Women's Hospital in Europe! I really do wonder if they will only act when it gets to stages 3 and 4, and even then they normally wants to carve you up like a sunday roast! Using a TeNS, adjusting my diet (what a difference!) and taking vits and herbal remedies seems to be the most helpful and healthy way so if I can't get any help from my gynae I may just opt out of the hospital visits altogether!

While I hope this thread doesn't turn in to a thread of people asking what are stages I and II as there is already a thread for that, I'm excited this thread was started! I have early stage endo, and BELIEVE me, I understand the pain that can come with "mild" endometriosis! I actually left word for my doc. to call me back today regarding having my 3rd lap. UGH! I think I need to have my intestines freed up again--that's the only reason I'm doing it. Anyway, I have passed out from the pain before and only have "mild" endo.
