Haha. Basically we call it cling wrap, or cling on (wait, isn't that a Star Track character?).
It is evil. I prefer to use foil myself.

It is evil & a huge waste of money considering it takes me the whole roll to cover over a can of dog food -- and not cover it well, I might add!

LOL that is so true!! I think the most annoying thing is if you've got a nicely decorated cake and you put clingfilm on it and it wrecks the icing and everything. Grrrr. Evil, Evil I tell you!!! Foil it is, foil it always will be, down with cling film!!!!!

hahahahaha, this is a funny thread ;D
Bane of my existence, never works properly lol, i try to avoid it but always occasions its sensible to use it, but man thats frustrating when it all sticks together, and u can never fix it either once that happens, so end up throwing it out in frustration and starting again.
Its a conspiracy lol, by the company to make us use more.

I have always hated the stuff. It can ruin my day. I hate feeling pathetic. My hatred for the stuff goes one step further because for some reason it makes my hands feel gross (the way they feel after touching dishes from the dishwasher that didnt have enough rinse-aid) so I always have to wash my hands after I use it... I know, I am weird.

Did anyone try that cling stuff by Glad (I think) that was supposed to seal completely to itself to make bags, or to the top of any dish? It NEVER WORKED for me...but my mom could do ANYTHING with the stuff! LOL!
I prefer tinfoil!
