I don't feel like going to work today!!!! I SO have spring fever! There aren't any windows to the outside in the suite I work in, so when I take my breaks, I just walk outside and enjoy the fresh air and flowers in bloom...then I come back depressed bc I want to stay outside and keep enjoying the weather! It feels like I'm a little kid again waiting for spring break...but now spring break doesn't come! Just work! Anyone else have spring fever?

I do definitely, touch of Seasonal Affective Disorder cos when the sun comes out I bloom like a little flower, I just loooove the spring! I love waking in the morning to a bright day dawning with the birds chirping outside. My budgies get super happy too, they love to sit near the window with the sun shining and the garden birds outside. I feel all this hope inside! xx

Oh yes! I have heard so many people describe how they get so tired and gloomy and just 'blah' as we move through autumn to winter and it's prob cos they have SAD too, I think everyone has it to some extent! Everybody just seems so happy to see the sun shining you can't help but smile xx

Have heard SAD is fairly common in the UK, not so much an issue in Oz coz its sunny more days than its miserable.

Yeah I think living in a sunnier climate would make me so happy for one, I can understand why so many from temperate climates become ex pats! Some would say that the British love a good excuse to be miserable haha xx

Spring reminds me of twitterpaitted from Bambi. Haha.
Personally, I LOVE Tulips. Not a big flower buff in general, I hate the smell of them - but tulips, oh my!! Nothing as pretty as seeing tulips bloom in the spring. And gotta love all the baby ducks swimming in the lakes!

I thought no one remembered "twitterpated!!!!" My family has always used that when either springtime rolls around or someone has a crush!

I love that part of Bambi! I have to say this weekend was lovely for Easter, in the UK we have basically a 4 day weekend, which is (bank holiday) Good Friday, Saturday, Easter Sunday, and (bank holiday) Easter Monday. Ok today is a bit damp in my part of the UK but the UK had 3 holiday days plus a good part of last week, of glorious spring weather! What a great combination, a celebration of rebirth and the first big snap of spring weather! How was it for you guys? xx

Ours was nice to have the extra days off! But we got MORE snow! We had a nice warm spell not too long ago and that spoiled everything! Now all the people are moping around all grumpy! The poor Robins don't know what to do with themselves!! We Canadians are hoping this is the last dump!!

My husband and I were off work today and went to the beach for a walk and picnic - it was great!!! The weather has been really good in the UK as Cherry was saying and today in NI it was still really nice. My hubbie even got a bit of sun!
