thank you kb and angelas..had to go to hospital and get pain relief on monday told doc if she didnt give me injection id kill myself infront of her,i was in so much pain.she gave me jag sraight away which contained morphine,i had to sit in her room for half hour to make sure i was ok,she prescribed me a drug called meptazinol which contain a opium drug?well chemist looked at prescription and said you wont get them in a hurry.so went back to hospital where she prescribed me 30mg of dihydrocodiene which i got no prob,the jag wore of after 9 hours so took these,they work great but knock me out-make me sleepy.not had any today though,pain ok.so all in all a hellish birthday.but atleast i got better pain relief.

well thats great that u got some decent pain relief.
Can u still get the meptazinol if u order it or something? I was curious and looked it up, must be a UK drug, have never come across it, seems reasonably safe, since its used for labour, and obviously pretty strong too.

thanx rin,feel heaps better today,not had to take pain relief,they made me loopy..i just wanted to sleep.but anythings better than pain.yep kb,i can still get the meptazinol,should have a look at it myself,i will get it just incase i need it,all i know is its a opium drug.

I understand what you mean Shona most strong pain medication sends me flying. My doctor gave my Tylenol 3's and when I take them ya I'm stoned. I had shoulder surgery a few years back and they gave me percocet and after I took those I wasn't even on planet earth anymore! Anyway I am happy to hear that you are feeling better . Take care. Rin

just did a quick search its also known as meptid,its used in childbirth and after surgery its an analgesiic.and makes you drowsy.and is related to morphine and should be used shorterm.
