I just wanted to start a gratitude thread.
I had my physical (pap) yesterday, my first time seeing my Primary Care Physician since my lap (done by a gyno). She was so patient, and thorough, and understanding, and positive! She spent 15 minutes telling me about the power of the mind - and suggesting I treat my "conditions" with meditation and yoga! She also told me not to worry about fertility until that time comes because worrying is half the battle. She was the first doctor to take me seriously when I told her about my pain so because of her I have started down this path of healing...
just really feeling thankful...

Wow that sounds really nice camille, I wish I had a doctor like that, cos I have gone back to positive thinking to help me, and it's wroking. I am also thankful for a nice doctor I met, just after my consultant wrote me off, the new doctor at my gp's office launched into 2 different investigations at the same time to find the source of my pain, listened to me and talked to me on his level. It was nice to be treated like an intelligent person rather than just a 'case'. He is all for my going back to gynae as he thinks it is still my endo, but wants to rule everything else out first to avoid any arguments later. He's the first doctor for a while who hasn't made me frustrated! Good luck with going back to basics, I really love it and hope it helps you x
