So, has anyone caught the flu this season? I think I may be coming down with something--I hope it is NOT the flu!

Well it's funny you should mention that ouchy because yesterday whilst out doing some xmas shopping I suddenly started to ache all over. I have a headache and the aches but no other flu symptoms. I'm really worried though because im due to have surgery in 10 days and if im showing any signs of a cold/flu they wont operate and I will be so gutted.
Did you come down with anything over the weekend? And does anyone have any tips for getting rid of the aches and possible flu - fast!?

Hi, meldart!!! Better make those aches go away quickly, then!!! Have you ever heard of TamiFlu? It's an anti-viral for the flu, but apparently it only works in the beginning, like right when you feel the aches come on. It's probably more reliable than alternative treatments, but then again, I've never tried it. Only read/heard about it.
I felt kinda' weak over the weekend, but I felt much better yesterday. I don't know whether or not I will wind up comign down w/ anything. Guess I'll have to wait and see.
GOOD luck to you, though!!!!! I wish you the best, because that would totally blow to get sick right before your surgery!!!
