I just have to let some steam off. Just when I think life is starting to get back in order, everything spirals downward. I am trying to find a job, and have applied at several I am experienced in and qualified for. I have barely got an interview, one I had an interview with 2 weeks ago, said he is still looking. I have been trying to have my vehicle fixed and not corrected, yet. So I have to drive to Portland, 2 hours away, again next week. And everything financial we've tried has all backfired this afternoon. I'm just waiting to see what else can happen. Things have to get better some time, right? Sorry. I just had to let it all out.

Lynette: I'm so sorry that things are not going so well, but it never stays the same, it will get better, promise.... Everything happens for a reason, I know it sounds crazy, but I truly beleive that if you did not get those jobs, it's probably because something better will come along. Stay strong......................

Thanks, Dinah. I know things will get better, it's just frustrating when everything goes wrong at once. There is always a way and things are meant to happen for a reason. Thanks for the words of support.

Anytime For me it's a difficult time, one of my dog is dying, she is 16 years old. I had her since she was 6 weeks old. Very hard for me, she is my baby. Don't sleep very well and cry alot............. I know she has to go, but I can't let her go...............People don't understand, that sometimes dogs are like your children, and they are part of you. Anyway I just had to let it out. Take care

I'm so sorry about your dog. It is an extremely tough choice to make, when your dog is in pain. We just put our in-laws dog a couple weeks ago. She was a 16-year old terrier, blind, deaf, and could not control her bathroom. It was a tough decision, but the most humane thing we could do. I wish you luck, and I am truly sorry about the dog.

Hi, Lynette. Sorry you are having such a rough time right now. I know what it is like when you think you just get one problem solved another just seems to pop up.
I know first hand just how frustrating the job search can be. I graduated from school in May, found a job right off the bat, but I had to quit because the location was in a bad area, I had to park in an alley (next to a van that transported dirty laundry for people who are too sick w/ AIDS to do their own laundry--not that you can catch it like that, but the van got vandalized one day w/ gallons of white paint; luckily, none got on my car). and to top that off, a guy followed me down the alley to my car when I was leaving; I checked online, and the area was packed w/ sex offenders. I quit that job back in July, and I just found another one! So, from July 2005 until just 2 days ago, I, too, was unemployed and searching for jobs non-stop. It seemed that I was either over-qualified or under-qualified for each job I found...or the employer was too cheap to pay what was reasonable for all that the job entailed. I did enjoy having the time without work to let my body heal, but the seemingly endless job search created its own stress!
I hope they finally fix your car correctly! I had a car back in high school that my father and I kept taking to a car repairman about 10 times....for the SAME problem...and they stilllll didn't fix it correctly! I know how annoying that can be. It was a 2hr. drive round-trip to get it fixed. On school nights, that got annoying, especially when it got dark outside early!
Now that I thought I had pretty much gotten my body on its track back to normal by quitting the b.c. pills, I have an appointment w/ a dermatologist for a splotch on my lip where I had an allergic reaction to a lipstick! It goes away w/ steroid ointment but comes right back when I go several days without the ointment. I hope I don't have psoriasis on my lip!!! Then, to top that off, I had a trial pair of contacts that I got on Tuesday. I wore them for several hours as directed. I had terrible dryness with them. Now 3 days later---my right eyeball feels like it is still totally dried out! I can even notice in the mirror that it is not shiny like normal! So, I'm never going to put plastic in my eyes again--no more contacts! I'm going to the eye doctor on Tuesday to see if I need to go to an ophthalmologist.
I agree, Lynette. Seems like the problems never end! Hope everything resolves for you soon! Best wishes. ~ouchy

Congrats on the new job. I'm sorry about the contacts and lip thing. You're body doesn't like anything foreign, does it?
Things are starting to work out here. My hubby calmed me down and we were able to sit down and come up with a new plan of attack, that should work.
