Greetings from Ocean City, NJ (USA). I am recently diagnosed (laposcopic) with stage 4 endo & bilateral cysts (about 5.5 cm each). The cysts are attached by the endo to my ovaries, bowels & uterus, and where "too involved" to be removed laprocopically. While I am relatively & "remarkably" pain free, the endo lesions where found as far away as my liver. I am 43 (no children), and feel that I am past the age of trying to preserve my fertility (and have falopian tubes "the size of thumbs"). I thankfully found & joined this site to learn about alternatives to hysterectomy. Invasive surgery, HRT, and the side effects of both are scary things to contemplate.

Welcome Kathleen! I also am new here. Not new to the pain and whatnot though. You are not far from my "home". I am a native Marylander. Anyway, I'm glad to be here with these ladies and have found comfort with them. I hope you find the same. We're here for you. ***HUGZ**
