My name is Misti. I am 33 years old and have had endometriosis from the time I was 12 or 13, but was not diagnosed until I was 18. I had an ovarian cyst removed and that is how it was found. Since then I have had 5 laproscopies, one partial hysterectomy (uterus only) and am now scheduled for Nov 16th to have my ovaries removed. I have no idea what stage I have, don't really care to be honest, just want to get rid of the pain. I am tired of suffering through this horrible disease. I am glad that I found y'all, because no one around me understands the pain and discomfort that I go through on a daily basis. I am looking forward to getting to know you.

Hi and welcome, good luck with your oophorectomy. It has always been a mystery to me why the ovaries are left and there are sometimes 2 major ops done when they could do it in one. Here's hoping it does the trick for you! x

Denna, the doctor said that he thinks that my endo is back and that hopefully removing the ovaries will take care of some or all of my pain.
