I'm new here...sort of anyway. I'd found this site a year ago, posted about diet issues and them lost the link. Anyway I am 29 years old and have endo. I was diagnosed with endo (via a lap) in December 2002 after trying unsuccessfully to have a baby for 2 years. Like many woman, I have all the classic symptoms, but docs just didn't believe me . You know what I mean, severe cramps, spotting, IBS, severe mood swings (or so my hubby says), painful intercourse etc.... I have tried using BCP, lupron, had a laproscopy. Now, I use good 'o fashion pain killers that really just don't work. Also, I exercise at least 4 times a week which seems the best way to decrease the pain so far for me. I also avoid certain foods (i.e. chocolate, cake, red meat) which seem to be trigger foods for me. I'm considering trying acupuncture, but it's a pretty expensive commitment . Still researching. I'm so glad to refind this web site. Looking forward to getting to know everyone a little better and learn a thing or two!
