Don't let yourself stress over it too much. You need to focus on getting ready for the surgery! You might feel better if you do an internet search for info on ovarian cancer to read about the symptoms. They are a lot the same as endometriosis, but at your age it is way more likely to be endometriosis.

louise, I hope that all goes well with you today at the hospital. I know it's scary, but as erzulie said, and as difficult as it is, try to not to stress too much over the what ifs. Keep yourself informed of the possibilities, yes. But also take a lot of deep breaths, and know that you, with the help of your family and loved ones, will be able to make it through anything. And we're all here to help you through, as well.

hi well i went to the hospital today and i do have to have another op, today was just to see how bad it's got and the doc says the amount of pain im in it's likely i need the endo removed again, the good news is he said if i want kids start trying theres a good chance i could get pregnant and it will help once i have a baby, i can come off the faulse menopause as im having an op now which will help my mood swings and not feel so low i hope, and once i have recovered from the op it's full stream ahead for trying for a baby, my partner has been great he came with me today and held my hand all the way, he's excited about trying for a baby too and wants to get a calenda so he knows when im at my best so to speak, i feel alot better today as i know things will be better once i have my op, i know it will prob come back as painful again but preharps not too soon, ive been luckly before and gone 3 years pain free after the last op and that will give me chance to get back on track with my life, thank u all so much for your support. lou xxx

In my case, having a lap was a good thing, because of the location of the endometriosis. It had tied my intestines together in funny ways and directions and had done terrible things to my appendix. Had I not had my last lap when I did, I probably would have needed emergency surgery for appendix problems!
