Hang in there Jess! I know it's easier sad than done. Whenever im in pain ( having cysts rupture) my boyfriend ( who has the highest pain tolerance in the world) always tells me to focus on my breathing and not the pain, in through the nose out through the mouth and try not to break concentration on that. I think we all know that Lupron works differently for everyone, maybe its not the right choice for you? I know theres nothing I can do or say to make the pain stop, curl up with a heating pad.. GET DRUNK??? lol. that will only make it worse, so dont do that I know this is probably also bad, but can you take like nyquil or something that will make you fall alseep? sleeping through the pain is better than being awake for it! maybe you should see another doctor for the pain? We are here for you!! are you trying to take any herbs/natural remedies for getting your body back on track? ouchy and erzulie know a lot about all the herbs and what they can help with. as for immediate relief, take a warm bath, try and message the painful areas, try to be mindful and focus on something else. another thing that might help make you feel better emotionally is to write everything down like your writing a letter to your "pain" It usually helps me to get all of my emotions out on the table rather than hold them inside. Or you can even write them on here, I am sure we are all more than willing to listen! Tomorrow may be a better day, you can do it jessa!

Hi Jessa! I know its all easier said than done, but do try to hang in there. I had the exact same experience as you are going through right now. My doctors put me through a drug induced menopause when I was 24. I immediatley had to take antidepressants cause I thought I was seriously going nuts!!! That was 4 years ago ( I only managed to take the treatment for about a year) but I am still taking medication for the imbalances I feel. I am pretty new to this discussion board, but I have to agree with jjuls in the sense that if it makes you feel better to vent, then this is totally the place to do it! You won't find more support anywhere else. I find that it helps to ask questions too, no matter how silly or crazy they may seem. Knowing that there are others out there just like you is a huge comfort in getting through this tough disease. I'm here for ya!! Ange

Hi, Jessa. Sorry your bleeding came back. Definitely sounds like your body doesn't like Lupron! You might think twice about getting the next shot. It's always ultimately up to you to decide whether or not to put the chemicals in your body! Don't ever let a doctor talk you in to anything that you think might not be good for you. Since you've tried the Lupron now, you must decide for yourself whether or not you want to continue it. You dont' have to treat the endo at all (watch-and-wait technique). Even w/ Lupron, the endo will come back, so you can opt to NOT take the Lupron, try natural treatments and watch-and-wait if you prefer when it comes time to take the next shot. Quite a few of us are doing just that, watching-and-waiting, and I can say that for myself, it's been the best therapy I've had.
I hope things get better for you. You might ask for a referral to another health practitioner or something. Also, your doctor can always give you estrogen to help out your symptoms!
I don't know what else to say. If you get to feeling too crazy, like you REALLY WILL lose it, keep emergency numbers on hand, and if it gets REALLY, REALLY bad, you can check yourself in somewhere if you're contemplating doing something dangerous.
Keep us posted! Best wishes! We're here for you!!!

Hey, Jessa. Good. I'm glad you won't do anything that rash! Are you going to call your doctor? If you do, ask him about the estrogen to try to balance things out. Explain how crazy the Lupron is making you.
Good luck w/ everything!!!!!

Hi Jessa, I hope things improve for you, your doctor is an idiot for refusing you pains meds on that basis, that is so stupid! If that's the worst thing then they should let you have them (cos doctors are supposed to help you, not leave you to suffer) and monitor you carefully to ensure they are doing you some good! I know how bad it can be, i was here nearly every day complaining about how bad it made me feel, and although i was always crying whenever I posted, I came off feeling a lot better. so please keep us updated. I found the talking about it, and all the support, was very therapeutic. I'm surprised your doctor isn't giving you an HRT or substitute to help you, cos you can lose important bone mass without it. I took evening primrose oil (max doses) and a gingko biloba supplement which I think helped. Also eating really healthy (just lots of water, fruit and veg no dieting) and keeping yourself occupied with nice stuff like comedy films and books you love, it really helped me. A nice quiet walk in the morning is good to clear your mind too if you can manage it. I have a TeNS machine to help along with my pain meds cos they can't give me anything stronger, I got the cheapest one (TeNS ova, made specially for period pain) and it's a little godsend when things get bad... the electric pulses make my tummy twitch which always makes me laugh. Hang on in there, and if you don't feel that the next injection will be any use, just say no. your doctor can't dictate everything. And if they carry on, just get a second opinion. I started a new hobby which occupied me cos it was interesting and new. And if you can't get out for an early morning walk, maybe try meditation. Remember though that the treatment will be over soon, and feeling better after is such a relief. I really hope you feel better, and if you feel meds will help, just insist, it's your wellbeing and you have every right to ask for help when you need it. Hugs xx
