Hi jesssilvahill - I think it really depends on the fertility conversations with your doctor. What are their thoughts? If you haven't discussed it with them it would probably be a good idea since they were able to see what the endo was like and also give you some insight into what they think your chances of getting pregnant are. Of course, there are many people that get pregnant with endo even after the doctors said they couldn't.

I completely agree with what mwilmot has said.
NO ONE can 100%tell you your chances of getting pregnant unless you have had your uterus and ovaries removed, at which time, the chance would obviously be 0%.
If you are interested in upping your chances of getting pregnant, you might read the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. YOu'll learn SOOOO much about your fertility signs that everythign might just fall in to place right away.
GOod luck. Welcome to the forum.

hi
agree with both of them. although most of us here have endo, but we are not sure the degree of the damage done or whether you have any other infertility issue. the best thing is to get a clear checks of your tubes, your hormones level, whether you ovulate or not and few other things. read the book ouchy recommended, you will understand more.
although it's not easy to get pregnant with our condition, it is still possible to get pregnant.i'm one of the example. i had stage 3 endo but managed to conceive naturally in june this year..i'll be 11 weeks pregnant tomorrow.it took me about a year to conceive after my laparotomy and i have tried many things, from vitamins to IUI and lastly herbs..so GO FOR IT, YOU CAN GET PREGNANT! and any questions are welcome

Not having a period usually means you aren't ovulating. If you ovulate, you start your period usually w/in 10-16 days. Only longer than that if you are pregnant or have a corpus luteum cyst. Not having a period isn't from endo. It's from a hormonal issue. Pain with period can be from endo.

anovulation isn't an endo thing. it's a hormonal thing. glad you got your period. keep good track of your cycles. going 5 months w/out a period is not a normal thing, whether you have endo or not.
