You can get them both in any supermarket in the UK. Robitussin is just an ingredient in some cough medicines and Baby aspirin is ust a 75mg dose of aspirin - just buy some normal aspirin (300mg i think) and take a quarter of one at a time.

made some research over the net.these are for infertility and not for endo. Robutussin is suppose to thin the mucus (phelgm) for easy flow of sperm (yahoo!!!)
Robitussin is a popular brand of cough syrup and it might be surprising to consider its relation with fertility. But the fact is that this expectorant is used to loosen and thin mucus of a different kind too, called cervical mucus, in women. Robitussin is only a specific brand and any expectorant that contains guaifenesin as the only active ingredient can be used in its place.
and A low does of aspirin such as found in baby aspirin may be beneficial to fertility. It is thought that aspirin can help the uterine lining by helping with the blood flow to the ovaries and uterus. Low dose aspirin treatment also significantly improves ovarian response. Aspirin is thought to help with In Vitro Fertilization, particularly in women who have previously had a miscarriage. Studies show that it may reduce the risk of miscarriage as much as 50% when used with heparin or immunoglobulin.
You can take any brand of aspirin, as long as it has no more than 81 mg per tablet.
may be this thread should be moved again to fertility forum..woun't we useful for thse who are not ttc hey..

My OBGYNS have actually mentioned the baby aspirin thing to me (indicating that it's worth a shot). Unfortunately for me, I'm deathly allergic to aspirin, so that's a no go...
I've also heard about using cough syrup to loosen cervical mucus, although I've read conflicting reports on whether it actually works. The one thing I would suggest is that the only cough syrup you're supposed to use in pregnancy is ROBITUSSIN DM. The other types of cough syrups (including other Robitussin formulations) have ingredients that are unsafe in pregnancy.

Since my fertility treatments started in Jan. 2006, I have been on the 81mg aspirin per day. This is the first time I have heard about the robitussin though.

i think if your c mucus is alright then you don't need robitussin...what do you mean, you take the aspirin every single day? after food? any side effect?

I have not experienced any side effects and I take it first thing in the morning with breakfast and all my other vitamins (prenatal, DHEA, & Calcium - I have to be on Calcium supplements now b/c the Lupron I was on for 6 months prior to my surgery gave me hips as brittle as an 80 year old woman - that's a whole nether story to tell on that experience)
