I am a new member to the forum and was officially diagnosed with endo about 6 months ago, along I've suspected it for some time. The lap helped the pain some, as my doctor removed some, but not all of the lesions. I am now on the mini-pill (NoraBe) to hopefully stop my cycles. I have been on the mini pill for almost 2 months and am experiencing a lot of breakthrough bleeding -- like a heavy period every other week, alternating with light spotting days. I feel like my life is one big, painful period:-) With the bleeding, I'm in pretty constant pain. My obgyn said to give the mini pill 3 months before I decide. I am trying to hopeful, but am tired of bleeding and being in pain.
Has anyone had similar experiences on the mini pill? Is it worth sticking it out for 3 months in hopes that it get's better?
I welcome any wisdom and/or advice.
I'm learning that living with endo affects nearly every aspect of my life and it's a challenging diagnosis to live with. But if I can manage the pain, I will feel like a free woman.
