Hi! I was diagnosed with Endo officially in January of this year, but I have been suffering from it unknowingly for 10 years. However, I have been taking birth control for 7 of those years, and nothing has really helped with the severity of my periods. Even on the combination pill that is supposed to stop ovulation I still feel pain in my ovary region that time of month. I had my growths removed in January and that has seemed to help some, and my OBGYN just switched me to a new pill that has managed to significantly shorten my periods (although it hasn't lightened them at all), but the side effects are almost too much to take and I'm considering speaking with her about changing to something else. Has anyone had any luck with certain pills? Or even the IUD/shot route? At this point I will try anything!
