Just started the endo diet as of today and was planning on just doing a 2 day green smoothie cleanse but was told thats not a good idea. I have no idea what I am doing here and was hoping there were meal plans for at least 2 weeks. Im doing a Candida cleanse for 14 days so Im already limitted on foods and this endo diet works great for me. Im also trying to keep it at 1200 calories per day for weight loss but with the green smoothie cleanse its impossible Id be severely under.
Any help is greatly appreciated

I've tried lots of different approaches and found some to be so bland and others that I was starving on. The best approach I've found is the Whole 30. They provide meal guidelines while still allowing a ton of flexibility, and their approach mimics what we should be eating anyway, which in turn helps minimize inflammation, auto immune responses, and naturally balance hormones. Just what us Endo girls need! Check out their website (whole9.com) for more info.
I know this goes against what Carolyn promotes on this site - it's a different approach than what she follows, but it's worth a look!

I think the biggest lesson I learned when I did wheat free, dairy free, potato free, corn free, etc, was that it wasn't so much the food, it was the attitude that made the biggest difference. It's not worth it to put yourself in a place of suffering, one has to find a diet with foods and recipes that are enjoyable and fun, and work with one's work schedule. For me, I learned to love baking, so I make a lot of vegan wheat free baked goods for myself. The first step in feeling better is in being happy, so to my mind, we have to be able to enjoy what we're doing and feel good about it.
Smoothies can be really fun, and quick and easy, and wonderfully easy to clean up on the scale of dishwashing. But, sometimes there's something really satisfying about a full meal from a recipe that takes a bit more prep. I think everyone's diet is a very personal thing. That being said, I avoid a few things. My biggest thing is I avoid sweeteners. I like to add a lot of cinnamon to my baking, and mix in molasses and fruit.
My avoid list: glucose-fructose, sorbitol, maltitol, aspartame, stevia, white sugar, grape juice sweetener, corn syrup, dairy barley, rye, oats, wheat, corn, grapes,
