Ok I know I don't post here much these days due to my care coming to a complete and utter halt, but I am just starting to feel a bit afraid and need some support/advice please.
My period is due and although I have a cyst on my left ovary I am experiencing pain on my right side (right where my ovary would be) pain in my inner thigh, and a bit in my right lower back.
It's just really scaring me. I have no coverage so I can't find out whats causing it. I am afraid of ovarian cancer as my grandmother died of it. I know I shouldn't think negatively, but with no answers I can't help but be afraid.
My last ultrasound said there was nothing on my right ovary, and only a small complex cyst on the left - shaped a little funny though, but the dr said to not be too concerned. I can't help but be concerned. I always think, "What if I have cancer and they missed it?"
I am honestly in pain just about everyday - I also have spinal damage (cervical, thoracic, and lumbosacral -sp?-) and between that and my periods it's just causing extreme mental anguish.
I found assistance to help pay for my new medical premiums, but I am still lacking full insurance - I'll still get bills that I cannot afford and there's lots medicare won't cover so I feel trapped and hopeless.
I have birth control that an obgyn prescribed for me, but cannot take it because I do not have the money for the refills I would need!!
I am terrified and tired of this. I don't want it to be something terrible like cancer. It probably is endo, but my experience tells me to never trust a dr and also that things can hide in ultrasounds.
What are some things you ladies do that has helped relieve some of your pains? - sleep positions, exercises, herbs, anything??? I am willing to give it a try.
I could also use your words of comfort. And I do hope that you are all doing well
