Hi Girls, I have finally got a 'Page' up at Facebook for Endo Resolved. It went live today (as of 4th Oct 2012). I would love to get some hits on the 'Like' button for the page if any of you have time. The more 'Likes' it gets the better viewing it will receive. I am very, very keen to get this page found on Facebook. WHY? because I am still getting lots of stories and comments and messages sent to the main website at www.endo-resolved.com - by women and girls who are STILL feeling totally isolated, cut off by friends, ostracised or sacked from work, and feeling utterly desperate. NOW ... Facebook has about 600 million users !!!! That means getting support and hope to many, many women via this social network is easily achievable. We've all heard how certain 'silly videos' etc. have gone viral on Facebook and got masses of hits - well I want to get more POSITIVE messages out to women about their future health possibilities with this disease, and to spread the word about the possibilities with natural treatments. So please hit the 'Like' button at Facebook if you have time and many, many thanks. Lets keep the word spreading, cos there is still a looong way to go for this disease to get recognised and taken seriously. The page address is: www.facebook.com/ResolveEndometriosisOf course you will have to log into your account to 'Like', but I bet you are all aware of that snag! Thanks a lot girls - keep spreading the word. Carolyn www.endo-resolved.com

does that mean they would be linked over here? And could see our posts? I send girls this way when I hear they have issues, but I wouldn't want to have to keep everything I say PG because its connected to Facebook. Do you know what I mean?

If you are sending people to the board then those people would be able to see our posts anyways. The message board is completely public. The Facebook group isn't a direct link to the board but the link to www.endo-resolved.com is listed on there. The Facebook group is its own group that also provides information to this site.

The FB "group" is actually a page. It's not a closed group. Carolyn - you might consider forming a closed group in addition to the page. Some women in the Natural Endo girls closed group were wishing that there was a closed group so that there could be open discussion. The topics aren't searchable like they are on the forum but moderators could direct specific questions to specific forum threads.

I was on another closed FB group that was searchable for threads, maybe that's just a setting that needs to be enabled? The group was ended because it became too much to moderate (too much political and personal squabbling); I liked the group for the number of women it attracted and breadth of experience but I definitely would not have posted much to an open group.

Hmmm. I'll have to see if I'm missing something. Thanks Semi!

Hi Girls, Feedback Needed:Thanks for those that have 'Liked' the page at Facebook so far. I have read the comments here regarding the issue of privacy/open group/closed group. Well, the 'Page' I have put together at Facebook is aimed at being a 'sign-post' function really, PLUS being a place to post helpful information - both myself and those who want to 'comment' on any postings, PLUS be a mechanism where the word can be spread that support and advice about natural treatments is available at the endo-resolved MAIN website (and NOT being linked here to this message board for those who are concerned about that). I do not want to duplicate another board function through Facebook like we have here. Too much work and no point duplicating. BUT, do girls here want/prefer THIS board to be closed - don't know if there is the function for that. But being OPEN means that other women can find the board by many and various 'search' terms they use in search engines as well as by the usual route of links direct from www.endo-resolved.com. NOW, the moderators here DO have a private area that is accessed by a password and it gives them space to exchange ideas/talk about tasks to maintain the board et al., without cluttering up the board with posts for general view. We could have a 'special' place to do the same for all members to exchange delicate/sensitive/very personal issues. What do you all think. You would just need to remember a separate password to get into that page. And any more views about Facebook/this board are appreciated. By the way, it took me a while to set up the 'Page' at Facebook to ensure I had set it up properly regards my own privacy on Facebook. Originally I bolted on a 'Page' from my own profile but soon got wind that this could jeopardise my own privacy, so I had to scrub that work on the original page, and start again with a new login etc. Sheesh! never a dull moment. Anyway, I now have to go back to the main endo-resolved site and upgrade 43 pages of the women's' endo stories, as the server and interface for the site has been upgraded and changes regards page building are afoot!!! Cheers for now Carolyn

I would be very much against this board being closed down - I don't have facebook and don't want facebook. Please keep this as it is!

yay I was looking last night to see if there was a fb group linked to this site and wasn not sure if the ones i saw were quite it but i love this forum so wanted one with the same type of connection. I am sure i may not post too many commments to the wall on fb just as privacy and all but i did like it and happy to find it . You all surely know how to make me and no doubt others feel not so alone in this. Thanks
