Four years ago this month I was diagnosed with advanced stage endo at the age of 29. Grappling with a new diagnosis, I reached out for support through various venues. The message board here was a tremendous support to me at the time and still is today. Shortly after receiving my diagnosis, I began looking for support groups in the area and found that there were none that were actively meeting. It was then that I made the personal commitment to form a support group in a grassroots effort. I garnered the support of a local endo specialist and advertised my initiative in local ob-gyn offices. I am excited to announce that Endo Connect has become a reality. Our group is rather small, but tight-knit and we are looking to expand. We meet 5-6 times per year and remain in communication on a weekly basis, if not more. If you live in Connecticut and are looking for a support group to join, please check us out at www.facebook.com/endoconnect .... we would love to have you!

This is so cool!!! I love this!! You are so awesome for making this group and I really am so happy to hear that you are helping other women with this disease. If I run into any members from CT I'll be sure to direct them to your group!
