Semi, I am so sorry. And I agree with Omak. I know that part of you is already grieving and feeling that it is easiest to assume that things aren't right. But this is worth fighting for, if you can and feel like it's right. Do you feel up to going to get things checked out again?
I have been thinking about you every day. Take care. Let me know if I can do anything.

I did call and talk to the OB on call a llittle while ago and he did not seem to think a trip to the ER would be helpful (he is not my reg doc but was quite nice for being called on a sat night). I wanted to make sure I am doing the right thing so I wanted to at least call the office. Is there something they would be able to do at the ER? He didn't seem to think so, especially because I am not bleeding much and cramping hasn't gotten worse. I'm always nervous about an ectopic, but I don't have symptoms or pain that matches that at this point (like always, I feel it more on my left but that tube & ovary are long gone). Thoughts?

The ER would check your HCG levels and do an ultrasound. They can confirm if the baby is in the right place and if the bleeding could be due to a implant issue. They wouldn't be able to "help" per say except to let you know what is going on. Blood work and ultrasound thats what they can do to help you know whats going on.

My only additional thought is that they could check progesterone levels and supplement if low. How is the spotting today?

Update: I talked to the ob again today, haven't gone to the ER but did get the okay to take ibuprofen which has helped he cramping a lot. I just didn't want to sit around for hours at the ER and fight for them to call in an ultrasound tech (my options are small local hospitals). I'm going to try to go into the office tomorrow whenever they can fit me in. I've been bleeding like a light to medium period, more than I was but not super heavy at this point. It is definitely more than low progesterone spotting, but thanks for the thought (I was thinking that until it became more bleeding than spotting). I was having more pain earlier but it's ok now. Thanks for thinking of me, this waiting game is pretty awful.

Well, had an office visit, ultrasound, and bloodwork. Long story short, not much seen on the uktrasound and hcg dropped to 129. So we are no longer pregnant and working to accept that. I'm still cramping and bleeding, I hope to feel better soon. I will talk to my nurse tomorrrow to get a better sense of what my uterus looked like and how much more bleeding is in store. I know you were all rooting for us, thanks for that.

Hang in there, sending you lots of hugs!

Argh, I'm so frustrated! So I have been still feeling crappy, mostly in my crazy bowel which has been screwed up since the MC. When I had my US the tech was convinced she found my left ovary, so I told her I don't have one but she was really focused on that side. When I had my ob follow up he thought it was a cyst or a peritoneal cyst but didn't make much of it. So today I was still feeling crappy and I called my PCP to see what it actually said and they sent me the report. The impression of the radiologist is that it is might be an endometrioma measuring 3.3 x 2.4 x 2.5. Wtf? I am pissed my ob glossed over this, now I'm wondering if this has been the cause of my left side pain and recent bloody stools with periods, etc.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? What should I even think about this? I'm so pissed at the universe and my body right now, grrr! When I calm down I will probably send along to my endo specialist with an update. Bright side, I love my primary care office and am so thankful for them.

Just to clarify, I had the left ovary removed with my colon resection when I got my endo diagnosis. I'm sure my specialist would have noticed it in June if it had been there, so I'm wondering how new this is.

I don't have any input or advise, but just want to let you know that I'm glad your PCP at least clued you in!

I emailed my specialist over the weekend and he suggested a plan to repeat an ultrasound in 3 months and I'll see him after. I'm really nervous because I didn't want another colon stricture (I sent my primary a message that one resection is enough for a lifetime!). I want to believe its not an endometrioma, but I know after my first surgery the ob left a piece of tube that became a big mass for my endo doc to remove so it is more than likely. Ugh, I hate the waiting game!! Since I always like a bright side, I'm thankful for the large glass of wine I am drinking, and for doctors who use email.

I haven't been on the board as regularly, so I thought I'd update. We've still been TTC, this past weekend I was a day or two late and got a very faint positive preg test. Unfortunately I had spotting the next day then bleeding. The worst part was that I had a lot of rectal bleeding (worst so far) so clearly something is not right. I'm trying to figure out the next steps and will probably do my follow up ultrasound sooner than Feb and see my specialist. I'm pretty fed up with this disease, but I can't let things get bad enough to screw my colon again.
My only other thought is that my progesterone might be low (last 21 day test in Sept was only an 8 ish), contributing to the mc's but there are clearly endo factors at work. My fear would be that supplementing might just delay a possible mc to later in the pregnancy, and that would be downright unbearable.
