Thanks, Jenaya, that's pretty interesting. I'm interested to see if it shows up every time, my doc does routine urine analysis with the yearly physical but otherwise I haven't really had many since I was in college.
Karen- my pelvic floor muscles are doing much better in the biofeedback, but I've never really had the incontinence problem before (not major, anyway)! I didn't have enough time to double void, I'm realizing that may be crucial. Trail running today was ok, not perfect but better than yesterday. My PT is a runner, we'll be chatting on Weds!

So I'm gearing up for surgery #4 on Thursday, complete with bowel prep- whoo! I'm feeling pretty gung-ho now, especially after my last period was so awful. Hopefully it's not too bad in there, and I hope I don't go home with a cath!
My legs are killing from the 9-hour hike we did over the weekend, I'm hoping I can walk normally by surgery time. It was hard but great, and after feeling so bad I really love to say "f-you endo!" from the top of a mountain!

Sending you nothing but good thoughts for your bowel prep and surgery! Both aren't fun, but hopefully, pay off in the end. And nice work on the hike! Way to give endo a good, solid f-off before going under the knife again!

Hope the bowel prep goes well today, Semi, and the surgery even better. I was thinking about you the past few days. Good luck with all of it.

i think the hardest part is trying to make the right decision. I think waiting for the CT is a good idea. I gave up trying to explain this to my family I don't know if they don't want to understand or don't beleive me. Surgery does not lie. I wish you the best of luck.

Thanks gals. I have no idea what he's going to find in there, starting to get the jitters.
I'm in the midst of bowel prep. I ate low residue food since yesterday, that has made things go quite well (although blue Italian ice was a questionable choice for snack!).

Hey all! I can finally focus on objects closer than a foot away so now I can update! My surgeon ended up doing a fair amount of work around the bladder, left sidewall, and one of the ligaments. He was concerned about the bladder so I had to stay overnight with a catheter. He wanted to send me home with a catheter but I managed to bargain my way out of it (and I was able to pee an impressive amount before leaving). He did put me on Cipro just in case and I am supposed to pee as if my life depends on it! Apparently my right tube was stuck to my rectum so he freed that up and used Interceed around my uterus to try to prevent adhesions. He was pretty pleased with how things looked from the last time with good healing.
I had been running a low grade fever but yesterday I think half of the reason for that was our AC broke and it was up to 92 inside our condo! Today I've been 98 or less, and the swelling in my hands and feet is better (not sure of why that happened). They definitely used a lot of anesthesia and narcotics that I'm still trying to get out of my system, I don't think the anesthesiologist believed me that I am a lightweight!

So glad to hear from you, and glad that things from teh last surgery seemed to be healing well--that's great news!
Rest up and watch the fever. I hope that your air conditioner is better. 92, with a fever, post surgery: not good.

So far so good today, and the new AC has done its job. Still shaking off the head fog but pain is pretty damn minimal so far.

hooray for a new AC! the horrible heat wave broke too, at least in DC. It was HOT. I'm on a train up your way (going to a friend's wedding in Connecticut). It's supposed to be beautiful today--bet it's even better in NH!
Hope the head fog/post anesthesia is better today too.

Ooh, what a great day for a wedding! Have a great time! I hope to get outside a bit today (with plenty of sun barriers since I'm on the antibiotics).

I will have plenty of sun barriers as well. I'm a redhead, so I fry like a good'un. I hope you get some fresh air today! makes a world of difference.
