I have been looking for inspiring songs to help me through my recovery period following a lap and hysteroscopy which resulted in some complications (post-surgical infection/virus).
Do you guys have any inspiring songs which helped you through the hard times?
I am currently obsessed with the haunting Katie Miller-Heidke`s 'The Last Day on Earth.' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhQ5seprs6s&ob=av2e) It seems to echo a lot of my feelings right now but is not really motivational lol!!! Another personal favourite is Florence and the Machine`s 'The Dog Days are Over' but as they are far from over for me, the song does not help me!!
Any suggestions?

Hmm, I think we already have a list compiled in another thread. I can't dig for it now, but will try to find it later on unless someone beats me to it!

It's amazing how music can make someone feel good. There is something about the oldies Jenaya the beat, the meaning and most important I can understand the words. LOL.

just found a great FREE internet radio that allows you to pick a station based on mood or activity (coping, dreamy, thoughtful, free, inspire, workout, summer, etc). it's my new best friend! you can also listen to specific artist/tracks, create playlists and save to library. enjoy! www.stereomood.com

The song that best describes how I feel is Cut by Plumb. It's a very emotional song. The lyrics are very deep. While it's a sad song it also makes me feel happy because at the end she says that she isn't alone. And I know I'm not alone either, especially when I come here
