Bought fertility blend from gnc for women and men. Me and my husband took our first dosage today. Even though doubt he has a problem since he has a 6 year old. We are in our 3rd month of actively trying. My Periods since getting off Lupron are like clockwork 33 days. Used ovulation kit. Got a positive on cycle day 20. We tried on all the days but failed to get pregnant that month. While periods are regular, they are lasting 8 days. I am on day number 6 of my period and bleeding heavy. The first 2 days of my period are very light. Any experiences with fertility blend? Any success stories?

I took a quick peek at the ingredients. Looks like a combination of B vitamins and a few other standard vitamins. The one thing that stuck out is that it has vitex/chasteberry. Vitex often increases progesterone gradually (I've read about 3 months) and is often given to women with irregular cycles or a short luteal phase. It appears that you have a fairly regular cycle and luteal phase (13 days?). This supplement could possibly be giving your body too much progesterone. Keep close track of it while on this - you could potentially delay ovulation if you're getting additional progesterone that you may or may not need. Would be worth discussing with your doc, too.

But I am on day 6 of a period and the bleeding seems to keep getting heavier. No cramping. My husband seems to think I could of had a very early miscarriage.

Not sure if this is helpful, but my experience has been after my two laps this summer I have developed a heavier period that I never had before (i have had heavy but this is flooding- the first time I was at work and so unprepared!). I have one day or a day and a half with bad cramping (better than my week of that before surgery) followed by very heavy bleeding / flooding the next day with no cramps. It is so weird to me but after three months like that it seems to be the new cycle. My new ob-gyn is not overly concerned and I'm trying to just roll with it & take it in stride.
Anyway, my point is it might take a few months to really know what your cycle Is doing since your surgery. We are TTC as well, so I know how tempting it is to try everything out there but check with your doc. Your hormones may already be where they should be (which is a great thing!).

My bleeding wasn't flooding. Wasn't soaking through pads. But it was heavier than the last 2. And I passed some small clots. This is my 3rd period since Lupron. I am on cycle day 8 today and now down to just spotting. Today will be my 3rd day of fertility blend, also taking prenatal vitamins. Basal temp charting and using a clear blue ovulation monitor. This time with a smiley face. No more straining to see those confusing colored lines. My husband keeps thinking I was having an early miscarriage but I don't believe conception ever took place. I took a pregnancy the day my period started cause it was so light for 2 days. Barely enough for even a liner. Didn't get a real flow til day 3. And pregnancy test was negative. I haven't had a lap since September 2010. Started Lupron October 2010. Gyno went back in march 2011. But nothing for him to remove. Lupron worked and was endo free. Stayed on Lupron til July. Never had any endo symptoms since. Husband thought for sure I was pregnant because basal temp stayed high at over 98 degrees for 2 weeks after I got a positive on the ovulation kit. And had what I at first thought was implantation bleeding a week before period. But sadly I was wrong.
