I love exercise. I run as much as possible, but I do find limitations in what I can do. Yoga and climbing are the hard ones for me. Anything where I have to use my core hurts like crazy. I usually have constantly throbbing rather than lots of sharp pain, but the sharp pain comes when I do yoga (upward dog, cat pose, anything stretching up). I also have the tendency to be super hard on myself when I can't do something. Instead of beating myself up, I try to do everything else in the sequence or on the climb, skipping the things that cause me pain. So if I can't do a cat pose, then I'll do two more poses that I can do. Same goes with running. Some days I just can't run intervals, but I'll run a little more distance at a slower pace. I know running is just not good for you, but how's hiking? Terrain gives you a workout too.
I'm also thinking about trying to start playing sports. I never did as a teenager, but maybe a lower level of running/hitting a ball would give you enough of a break in between to avoid pain.

I find core exercise very hard. I have to rest in between. I do a little then it starts hurting and have to stop. I just do what I can.
