I'm going to take a shower and put myself together today. It's my Mom's birthday so I'm taking her out to dinner tonight before she goes home tomorrow. My Mom does so much for everyone else in her life I'm excited to be able to take her to dinner.

Sounds like fun Nicolle! Enjoy the dinner!!! I agree on laughter being the best thing and also add me to the list on gals who put on makeup and get dressed when you feel like crap. I think there is something to looking in the mirror and feeling good about how you look even if on the inside you don't. Just a spray of perfume and some mascara lifts my spirits.

I am cleaning to get through today! Obviously!
I did laugh when I caught myself in the mirror polishing this gold skull I have and singing at the top of my voice! Now just for a shag and a shower...

Yes! Laughter always distracts me from the pain. I try to surround myself with people who have a good sense of humor.

I am checking both endo-resolved, facebook, AND googling non stop today! I am hoping that the odd stuff I'm feeling is NOT an ectopic pregnancy! Thinking positive thoughts for the next two hours until I get a blood test and go from there! Thank god for the interweb lol and thank god for y'all..... love you ladies!

well... its cold wet and miserable today so I won't be weeding, I also dont' want to get dirty before my appointment. BUT I find being outside in my gardens (we have a half acre) and weeding and setting flower beds and gardens right does something for me. It hurts to bend over like I need to but I love having my fingers in the dirt and it makes me happy!! On the days that I can't work much I still like to sit outside and if an occasional weed gets pulled I'm content.

What I'm doing today to get through....I have been educating myself about bioidenticals. Also, I've been reading in the book of Psalms (always makes me calmer). Pretty, I just wanted to let you know you're not alone, I just went through an ectopic pregnancy scare this past week myself. Went to the ER and found it was just an ovarian cyst. I was never so happy to hear about a cyst before! ;D Here's hoping you have a good outcome! I know what you're going through and I'm sending you happy thoughts and well wishes!

Awwww.... thanks for the support. Isnt' it nice we're not alone! I was pretty glad it was a cyst too! crazy but you get it As an exercise in self empowerment I skipped my idiot boss and went straight to HR for my FMLA inquiry. I'm now all set for whatever happens next! My main concern is these incompetent idiots I work with. They're famous for giving out wrong info and then denying it later. When I asked about FMLA leave at my 'warning' meeting last year after my surgery (when they told me if I took unpaid leave I would be fired! idiots!) anyhow.... I asked then about FMLA leave, and was told "FMLA won't help you, it only gives you 3 months of leave (!!!!!)" and also "We might not give you the same job when you came back" also bs, honestly, I'm the only person here who even knows what my job is, and on the off chance I'm out of the office even my boss CANNOT do my job correctly! anyway FMLA was created for people who either need time to care for a sick family member or for their own ongoing serious health issues, hello, endo! keeps you from being fired or losing your health bennies when you're ill... anyway just going 'around' my stupid boss has made me very very happy, since I don't have to report to her on this why should I! Anyhow I bet this is confusing but hey it's what's getting me through so just keeping it REAL ladies!

I understand your excitement, Pretty! Glad the paperwork is set up and good to go. That has to be a load off, right?

So glad it was only a cyst Pretty! That still sucks, but at least it wasn't worse! We should all start a line of Endo greeting cards just for occasions such as these. LOL
