Hi, another Marylander here! I'm in Baltimore. I'm supposed to have my first laproscopy in early October.
Are there any in person support groups in the area?

HI! Let us know how you like your doctor!
I don't know of any in person support groups but we could always start one ;D

I was originally with Signature OB/gyn in Howard county. While my doctor there was alright (I don't want to name her because I do think she is alright), the office was terrible. The doc herself is very conservative with treating endo. So between the office and their approach I recommend steering clear. My PCP I'm starting to be convinced is an angel, I go to Overlea Personal Physicians just outside of Baltimore. He listened from day one, and got me in with the gynecologists who helped is daughter and niece within two days of my showing up in his office in tears. He had recommended those docs from the get go, but my mother had worked with the doc from Signature OB/Gyn, so I figured I would give them a chance since my mom liked the doc. So my gynecologist right now is Dr. Audlin he has an office in Towson, and in Overlea's office. So far he has been great, and set me up with lap after first appointment. Audlin is actually an endometriosis specialist, and also works with fibroids, pelvic reconstruction, etc. I'll add his info if surgery goes well

Thank you for the information! Definitely add him to the list if you are happy with your surgery.
