Well my surgery was schedule on the day after the last day of my period and the stupid corpus luteum cyst was there. It should have been gone right? I have a feeling it had been stuck there for quite some time. I had two cysts on that ovary which showed on two seperate ultrasounds two weeks apart. Then the cyst was still there a month later when I had my lap.
But yeah, our bodies are crazy!!!!

That also goes to back up the stats we've seen here that a lot of women w/ endo also have concomitant hormone issues/ovulation issues. It's like it's all related. I swear here is more to it. I wish they'd do a wide study on how many women w/ endo also have ovulation issues going on!!!

Isn't it exciting!!! The first few months is like a high when you see it and everything matches up! It's still exciting, even after 6-years. LOL

Even my damn cervical fluid matched up. It's kinda creepy! LOL After bombarding my poor body for so long with synthetic hormones, it is still a mystery to me why I'm so regular.
BUT OMG ovulation is SO painful for me. It's weird!

Just be thankful to be regular after all the hormones!
I guess you could look at the pain as a good sign. Will help you to avoid getting pregnant or let you know when to do the wild thing if you change your mind. LOL
But yeah, DEFINITELY watch your cervical fluid if you dont' want to get preg!!!!! Pain or not!

I have a question...
Has anyone had an extremely painful ovulation and THEN passed a giant clot the size of an acorn?
It happened to me a couple weeks ago for the first and only time. I've been trying to look up info as to what that could be but I'm stumped.
Ree.

WOAH. How interesting to read this thread! I am in quite a bit of pain at the moment, and was curious why pain comes so randomly in the middle of my cycle. I've always been like, eh, it's probably ovulation.. but never got serious about trying to figure it out. According to my research, ovulation is like days 11-17 or something like that. Several sites say that we ovulate on day 14 usually. So naturally I was impressed to discover that today is EXACTLY day 14 of my cycle. No wonder you guys like charting so much!! It sure seems like it would be cool. Jenaya, if you read this, what book were you using? Or what books would you guys recommend on temping & charting and whatnot? This has piqued my interest now! Well, that and the nausea that comes about randomly -- one of the girls suggested I tried temping to see if there is any correlation.

The fertility book in my signature is a good one! Looks like we may have another temper on board?

Ovulation is starting to be a terrible time of the month for me. Two times, in the past three months I had extreme bloating and cramping a couple of days after my most "fertile" day.. Now again this month, like clockwork, three days after my ovulation day and I have extreme bloating (I look pregnant), cramping and break through spotting of brown, and today, red. I feel awful and have been trying to lay low in bed, cuddled up with my heat pad. I recently went on Microgestin 1/20 and thought it may help ease it, but it hasn't, and if anything my spotting is more severe than in the past. The only thing that helps my pain is percocet and I only have a few left, so as much as I want the pain away, I am afraid to have none left if the pain gets worse later... :/ Not feeling crash hot.

Based on this thread, I was just speaking with my husband and in Dec of last year I went to the ER with extreme lower back and abdominal pain during exactlu mid-cycle- ovulation time. The doctor diagnosed me with a kidney stone which at first I didnt believe because of timing. It turns out that the doc was right but it happened again in March right during ovulation. The stone was blasted and removed in July of this year but I just wonder if we found that kidney stone by complete chance...

Before my surgery 4 months ago, I never really had ovulation pain. It was more like a few twinges of pain on my left side that weren't even bad enough for me to take note of as ovulation pain. Now, ever since my lap I get God-awful pain around ovulation. My hips hurt so bad that getting from a sitting position to standing/walking made me hobble like an old lady. It's kind of like a hot burning feeling.I get sharp, stabbing pains predominantly on my left side and dull ache on my right. My lower back/butt is very sore and I get a pulling/tingling sensation down my left side to my knee, which I'm guessing is adhesion pain. I'm wondering why this is a problem now! Any insight would be great.
