Thanks for the nacho chip tip and rice cakes, I do like both.
I bought the endo book by email, and printed it out, so it didn`t cost that much, but I found the recipes not to my liking as I am a very picky eater, and I had to make two meals one for me and one for my family. I tried the diet for three weeks, and gave up. But I just got back from holiday, and am committed to going wheat free now, as I know this causes me pain. Then if that doesn`t work I will go dairy free. I have already eliminated soy, but that didn`t change anything. Coffee and chocolate will be the last to go.....I think success of the endo diet is starting with one food group at a time to eliminate.
Cinna - I`m very glad you got your school figured out, I`m sure that worring about it was also causing you pain probably. I do hope you find relief soon.

honestly there are other books out there with more detail, try a gluten free book first then eliminate the rest progressively. The endo book wasn't good for me since I have IBS and found that most recipes were very spicy or had ingredients I haven't even heard of before, if you have the time to research the ingredients and don't have IBS it might be worthwile. This is my third time doing an endo diet and the last 2 I didn't have cookbooks. I'm also a very picky eater so I find this diet even more difficult, I decided not to be super strict, I didn't completely eliminate sugar (last time I crashed at work when I did that). I wish you all good luck!!! ps I also suffer from the same pain you are describing sharp, stabbing, annoying! lol
