Hi everyone, I guess I am just looking for support, because I am having one of those really bad days. Yesterday evening I came home from school in severe pain and spent the evening curled up with a heating pad watching bad tv. I got lots of sleep, but this morning I am absolutely exhausted, and still having really bad pain. I want nothing more than to curl up in bed all day... but alas, the world does not work that way. I have voluneteering for four hours this morning (I can't miss it because I missed it last week for a mental health day), a skiing date with my Mom, and a ton of schoolwork. I am so overwhelmed right now... I don't even know where to start. I feel awful. I just want to cry

HI! Sending you a hug. Do you have any of those therma care heat wraps you can use? I really like those for days that I have to run errands etc. I also find taking a warm bath is really soothing for me. Do you take anything for the pain? I take advil and tramadol on my worst days and that helps me get thru things. I'm not sure if skiing is the best activity, maybe stay in the lodge and drink something warm? I hope you feel better - I totally know what you are going thru. My last period I was at work, got home and just balled because I was hurting so much. I hope you have an ok day today!

Sorry you are having a bad day! I totally understand having prior obligations you need to fulfill, but I think cutting out the skiing with your mom would be a good idea and she should understand! Don't over do it!

yeah, have your mom join you after for a cup of hot tea. And I know volunteering is important but so is your health. Are you able to sit down for the volunteering? what are you doing?
incentive to start the endo diet = feeling awful. that's what made me choose it... wish you didn't feel so awful, hon!
