Yesterday, my doctor ordered me off caffeine. AHHHHHHH!!!!! This is rough!!!
First he makes me stop birth control dead-smack in the middle of a cycle which made me crazy, now caffeine?? He's trying to kill me!!
He's an excellent doctor. BUT STILL!!

Sounds a big ask but you'll be ok.... but get on the berocca, gingko, ginseng etc instead. You'll be amazed how much better you feel after you've detoxed of the caffeine. I just kick up my intake of vitamin b active/berocca and vitamin c and it's done wonders for my health. Current tonsillitis excepted. That caffeine was kicking your ass, k? Look up the benefits to getting off it and then sit back and wait to see these lovely benefits kick in! My sister had to get off it due to the migraines and is a different person, personality and health-wise. Was a godsend and now only the occasional migraine rather than almost constant. Your endo will love it too.

I've quit caffeine before and felt really good but it didn't change my migraines. The only reason I use so much caffeine now is because I have been sick for almost 6 months and low on energy. The doctor took me off for cardiac reasons. I'm really hoping to God that I eventually feel better off of it but I'm kinda bummin it. I have midterms coming up.

Look into your natural alternatives? My sister has ME/CFS and it was a big thing for her to consider but she found her energy levels naturally rose to the challenge. Mind you she has the luxury of post-work naps too, her job is more physical than mental. You will adjust ok, don't worry. Your body will meet the shortfall. She takes my crazy vitamin cocktail when she needs a boost too.

I second (or third?) the vitamins! A good friend has been hearing me talk about how much better I feel on certain supplements and when she finally started on a daily vitamin she told me she was surprised at how much better she felt. Duh, I'd be telling her that for months!

I'm really really cranky today. I'm lonely and I wish I had more girlfriends to hang out with. Just feeling needy and what not. Bleh.

I've been there before! The thing you're forgetting is that you DO have a lot of girlfriends to hang out with, but they just all happen to live far away.
