I was shopping today for random stuff for my library display and a wonderful Maryiln book was in front of me. I should have bought it but I am trying to cut back on all the stuff I have so I instead stood in the isle with a swimsuit cover up and a huge gold sunhat reading about her touching all of the pictures. I had a bad last two days in bed and sick I call those my MM days Marilyn had her sleep days too.
I am reading a biography on Audrey Hepburn and Tuman Copote wanted Marilyn first to play Holly Golightly. I can't even imagine Breakfast At Tiffanys being played by a blonde. I LOVE both of them but clearly Audrey was best for the part.

Guess what I had know idea it is Marilyn Monroe's 85th birthday today.....Now I really have to go get the book. I have to stop by the store tonight after work. Can any of you imagine what she would be like at 85 still as marvelaous Im sure. I could see her with a child too that she wanted so bad.

Keri I have to share this. When I was 19 I spent 3 months in Belgium with my boyfriend (he was from there) and since he had school every day I would go into the city and spend time at the American Library... there were of course millions of books but which one was I led to? Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote. I had never seen the movie just remembering being swept away by that magical book... <3

Ah, I love that "channeling your inner Marilyn", I'm definitely going to do to that - especially as I am watching one of my favourite ever films; Niagara, which just happened to be on the TV today, on a day when I'm flooding and in pain.
I think from now on I'm going to be Dolly Parton on the days when I feel a bit rubbish and just want to slap the make-up on and get glammed up to make myself feel better, and Marilyn Monroe on days when I can't leave the house and just want to flounce around all day in my dressing gown!xxx

Yeah I like that one the best because she was so natural. I love the one of her in the bathing suit because it shows off her curves.

She's such a freaking knock out. I have a Tumblr and I post so many pictures of her. I've always adored Marilyn.

I love her figure...I am going down my list of Marilyn movies and watching all I can while I am off for my shoulder injury. Tonight I started Some Like It Hot ummm she is amazing and Jack Lemmon is so darn cute awww if only I had lived then... I would of been at the movies every chance I had. I wish I could of seen her on the big screen.

I'm reading Marley & Me right now (hilarious book by the way...I have lol'ed so many times I can't keep track)....low and behold...John Grogan's (the author and main character in the book) wife has endo. Thought that was neat to read. Of course it was never acknowledged in the movie (that I remember).
