Hi Gang,
So ive been seeing a chiropractor b/c my back is out of whack and hes been helping alot. For those of you who believe that your body works as a whole, he's been working on my T5 (stomach) and my L5, intestines, bladder, sex organs. GO FIGURE!!!!!!!!!1 hahaha. they sell herbal vitamins made by the company called Standard process, they use mostly organic herbs and veggies to make their vitamins A+++. I'm currently taking Linum B which is flax seed and other sorts of goodies and Ovatrophin which supports my ovaries. My period is coming up and ive been on them for about a month so we'll see! just wanted to put the company out there. ;D

I've been on Standard Process for over a year! I'm on Utrophin, Digest, Bone Complex, Multizyme, and a few others. LOVE THEM!
They offer a 21 day cleanse that I've done 2 times and highly recommend it!!

The chiropractor I see (I see him for nutrtition, not my back) offers thrm almost exclusively. It's definitely been a gradual improvement, but well worth it!

My new doc uses Standard Process, too! She asked if I had done the 21 day cleanse as well (I did) and recommends it.

Oh, and I should have said, she suggested we consider adding Simplex F to the mix after I get my hormone levels/thyroid levels tested.

Girls I have been taking the list of supplements twice a day for over a month. I was recently introduced to them by my nutritionist and a world opened for me of new options for my issues. I know Karen is excited for this post but I hope everyone reads it and takes it in and thinks about what we feed our bodies makes a huge difference. Catalyn Chlorophyll Complex Calcififood Drenamin Cataplex B Gastrex It seems like a lot and it is but if I have a day or two I can't eat these are what save me from going into the hospital. I also make a protein shake with almond milk and strawberrys once a day. I took a fall at work on Thursday and sprained my arm I had to have a shot of demerol the pain was awful of course it messed with my liver in a horrible way. So Friday and Saturday I spent very sick not a thing would stay down. I increased Sunday my supplements and only drank water ate fruit and iced my sprain. Today I feel so much better. I see my doc tomorrow and my nutritionist each will have a different perspective on how to heal but everything I have learned points back to diet. I know it can not cure everything it has been a good start for me & I am learning more each day about how my body works what makes it feel good. I can say a few months ago this fall would of set me back a few weeks but with the help of the above supplements a positive attitude & confidence I can get better I'm only going to loose a week. Thanks for reading and I will post a link for Standard Process as well if anyone is interested. The above list can be taken up to 3 times a day but please discuss this with your doctor before taking anything.

Ooh, I've been on the Cataplex before, and I'm currently on drenamin (adrenal support). I love, love, love SP supplements, they are like the gold-standard! They have their own organic farm and minimally process all their ingredients so the best of the best is maintained in their products. I'm so excited you're seeing success on these, Keri! Honestly, SP supplements are what I first started on way back when I started down the natural route. If it weren't for them, I don't know if I would have been confident enough to go off everything like I did!

It's true, though! Once you start to feel a change within your body, it makes you wonder what else you can do to help it! Wishing you nothing more than continued success on them, hun!

I am tracking all of my progress and can't wait to see how a increase makes me feel I'm going to go to 3 times a day. I will be honest my right side is a mess. Abdominal pains but I mostly notice it if I take medication even Ibprofen can make my little fragile liver hurt. I def can feel the cyst too when I ovulate on my right ovary. Its not miracle worker but hey what I have felt in the past omg I would be a wreck already without this added boost to my system.
I asked nutritionist what he thought of endo do this to me and all my organs and he says its a huge guess that yes it could. Since it started to spread outside of the female organs it could cause some major issues. Right now he is trying to build me up even more to prepare for what to do with the function issues with my liver. I gain a little more knowledge each time I go. I do more so than ever believe endo is a autoimmune disorder he validates it and the back up of a specialist saying it too. Our bodies need the natural goodies in life:)

I am adding a new supplement to my list Karen this is not Standard Process but I am going to keep it in this thread because I am still taking those. My niece is selling a makeup line called Motives and her mentor has Chrons disease she sells supplements and natural products this product is what she uses in place of all meds it is called OPC 3. Here is a link to a wonderful news story on it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=agZCU-GjZJ4Lupus, Chrons, Headaches, seizures, ab pain, and a variety of others can be helped with this product. I should get mine in the next few days and am so excited to try it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_72vL-QSgA&feature=related

Sooo... I'm back on several SP supplements. I forgot how cool of a supplement they really are. The acupuncturist I'm seeing has been to their farm and has seen it in action. I'd love to go there someday - it's actually in WI. I guess it's a family farm with 1400 acres, and plans to buy 1800 more. They've been in business since 1929. Essentially, what sets Standard Process apart from the rest is how they view supplements and vitamins. Most of us are used to seeing individual vitamins in a store. A lab either takes a whole-food source and processes one little ingredient out of it, or they synthesize it in a lab. They package it up and - voila - we have a supplement, mineral, or vitamin. But, as we know, a lot of supplements work well together. For example, calcium and magnesium go hand in hand. If you take one alone, it won't work as well as if you take it with the other. This is what sets Standard Process apart. They DON'T take a source and filter it down to just one vitamin or mineral. Using very gentle and low-heat methods, they take the best parts of a whole food and RETAIN all the other parts and pieces that have so many other vitamins and minerals that work well together. They focus less on the quantity of a supplement and more on the quality. I know, I know, here goes Karen on another hoity-toity soap-box. I guess what it boils down to is that when we eat good foods, we get more than just a select few nutrients - we get a whole lot more with it. Standard Process is all about giving you everything that you would get in a whole food, and package it up in a way that works a whole hell of a lot better than your standard off-the-shelf items. If you ever go to a health care practitioner that uses Standard Process, jump at the chance! Here's their product catalog, grouped by purpose: www.standardprocess.com/display/productselectionguide.spi

Oh how I missed my Standard Process Supplements...I am back on and wow. I also added the Acai Berry Boost but am going to be taking that out since I do not feel its really working and the after taste is not so good. My doc had me off so I could take my adrenal gland test... With supplements even just day two I see a difference...
