Well here in lovely West Virginia the only places getting snow is the mountains but in my small town it is just cold about 25 degrees with wind chill. Well after reading other post on here it could be colder but still is the coldest it has been around this time of year in a long time!!!

I think a few of us have enough snow for the rest of you! This is what I woke up to Wednesday morning. Just beautiful. It still is today. (Taken from my phone, so it's not high quality...) Attachments:

Pamela - what on earth does your husband do that requires him to be outside in all kinds of weather?

He works as a mechanic in a recycling yard for cars(auto wreckers). He has to pull the parts from the scrap cars that are good enough to be put in other cars.

Yeah the UK is now in the grip of a cold snap. And not even snowing to sweeten the deal, it's just freezing cold and wet. I spent my afternoon weighing up whether to buy an oil-filled radiator or a halogen heater! Double duvet times, yum.

My heating's up to 8 - very high. I think we'll have snow in the next couple of days. Oh I read in the paper the other day that the boffins are predicting next year to be a barbecue year. Again.

Here is Saskatchewan (Canada) it is very cold - it is minus 32 with a wind chill that puts it at minus 46. Tomorrow it is suppose to be minus 11, and people here are joking that it will feel like spring compaired to what it is feeling like now. It's hard to feel in the chrismas mood, when you don't want to leave your house...

It's cold here, too, but not that cold. Are these temps typical for Canada, or is this an extreme cold blast?
