I really suck at the search function. I probably wouldn't have been able to find it either if I didn't already know where it was. LOL. I don't know why it never works for me. How are you?

Im surviving day by day. Somedays worse than others. Most mornings I have trouble getting out of bed, Brad is a wonderful husband and gets up at 6am with me to help walk me down the stairs. I have fallen down them a few times.
On a brighter note, we just purchased an extremely nice bungalow where everything is on the main floor so I dont have to take the steps anymore. I feel like a cripple most days and ppl look at me funny when they see me walking.

AWWW I'm sorry! I'm so glad your husband has been there for you. That really helps a lot and makes me happy to hear. Your surgery is in early March right?

So, I was diagnosed on Monday with Fibromyalgia and was put on Baclofen. Thanks Jenaya for talking to me. I think that drug should be taken off the market. I went crazy(literally(. It threw me into a severe depression, i threatened to kill myself and worse, I dont remember ANY of it. I have now stopped taking that med and doc now has me on Tramadol. No side effects yet

Hi Pam! Didn't you try Tramadol a little while back? Sorry this crap is still kicking your arse. I'm sure you'll end up kicking it right back!

I realize there's more to fibromyalgia than this, but in all the reading I've done on the thyroid gland, hypothyroidism and fibro often go hand in hand. Google the relationship, see what I mean. Have you had your thyroid tested - TSH, free T3, and free T4?

Hi apologies delayed reply....bed days!!!! Been reading the thread and I get what u mean by thyroid my doc thought it was fibroid to begin with but every tests they've done is all clear so my rhuematologist is re doing them plus more and an mri on my spine as I hd pulmonary tb on my right lung he want to make sure its not tb on spine as my spine is sore to even touch n some points however my doc from thoracic reckons it's not tb back just fibro and being den due to illness im quite lost to be honest my sis in law has fibro and she suffers bad men hubby put my aches and pains down to endo as you do as nothing shows in any tests or x rays....they just eliminating before they diagnose it...I will read up more though just lost on coping as can barely make tea some days and pains are excruciating that morphine only make me drowsy than deal with pain I have had amit

I just saw this post jenaya
Oh my gosh thank you so much as when I tell people when its cold my aches are worse ...etc they think I just dont want to go places but in fact its because am I that much pain that I physically cant!!
Im taking this to my gp and going to go and see my rheumatologist again as at the moment where I live is slightly damp and cold and heating is inadequate but authorities presume coz im young at 25 its in my head and dont recognise that temperature affects it to such a large degree plus in england its freezing 95% of the year and wet which does not help
But thank you I really appreciate this arricle and that youfound it
