How far apart do you want your kids to be in age? Baby Ouchy LOVES to play with other kids. Then again, I haven't slept for more than two hours straight in almost 16 months.
So confused!

My sister and I are 18months apart in age and I love it. I would like to keep my kids close in age as i think it can distance them growing up. My brother is 4 years older than me and we werent close until much later on. I think 18-24months is nice.
I guarantee my opinion will change shoudl i even have 1 but my sister is due in July with her second baby and her first is 20months so i think its a great gap!

Me and my sis are 4 years apart and I think it's perfect. We had our space going through school growing up, but as we came to adulthood we became best friends. We now live in the same town and talk everyday.... My mom said it was a good gap because once my sis came along, I was a little more "self-sufficient" and I adored helping my mom take care of her when she was a baby.

2-3 years seems about right to me, which means I could be trying for our second as soon as October. I'm one of five, and I asked my mom what she thought was the best spacing. My sister and I are 21 months apart, and that worked out pretty well for my mom. Still, she thinks that the difference between 21 and 24 months is huge.because speech and independence develop so much at that time.
My younger sister and I are 37 months apart, and the nice thing about that was that my sister was in kindergarten and I could go to preschool a few mornings a week, which helped my mom manage having three little kids.
My brothers are four years apart, and that seemed to be too far, especially once they were 12 and 8.
I'm hoping for 2-3 years, but there's only so much planning you can do.

and sometimes you don't get any choice in spacing... lol I have two girls fourteen months apart, fortunetly mine were pretty good sleepers. I ignored them and they went back to sleep... eventually. HA! They get along pretty well most days although I was very happy they don't have to share a room anymore. (we added on space) My older brother and i are two years apart and it was really nice!

Well here i am with a 4 and half year old and i still don't feel the urge for more kids; i'm quite content to continue on with the one child, both my husband and i are the only child
before having my daughter i thought i would have 2 with around 2 and half to 3 and half year gap, and i still think that is a good gap
