Let me start by saying, I have Stage IV Endo. I have a question about ejaculation. My husband and I are trying to conceive, but sometimes I feel he is not that into it.
I am somewhat of a novice with sex, so I know you all must think I am crazy - but sometimes I just can't tell if he ejaculates inside of me. How do you know for sure??

Hey Ellen I think that you would be able to tell because when you stand up, you'll notice that gravity takes hold and, just trust me, you'll notice! Also, unless he has an oscar for his dramatical skills, look for the signs - crossed eyes, toes clenched, body spasming type groaning noises - thats usually also a good indicator! The final key clue is if he is snoring within 50 seconds - then you'll know for sure!!!!! xxx

I know, but I try to lie down for awhile after (at least that is what I am told to do when trying to get pregnant). I feel so stupid asking on a message board, but I just don't feel like I can tell.

If you can get your hand around there, say if your man likes a little testicular tickling, you feel for sure when the scrotum bunches up. Like, it's usually relaxed and soft, but at the time of ejaculation you will feel a definite difference. Hopefully he is honest with you cos at this stage, his orgasm is very important huh I know sometimes with timing and temperatures men can feel the magic is lost when trying for a baby. Maybe try to make the whole thing a bit more fun again (cos ttc couples can end up feeling robotic bonking on demand) and relaxed so that he can enjoy it. Good luck trying to conceive Oh and don't worry about feeling silly there's lots of embarrassing stuff that comes up here!

I have to interject a different perspective. If he is not in to it...you might think twice about trying to get pregnant at this time. If he is not in to it now...he might not be in to a screaming, crying baby in the middle of the night.

With me having Endo when he ejaculates my pain gets a little worse. I start to cramp really bad for about 15 minutes. Just like someone stated in a previous post when you stand up or even if you wipe yourself out you will know.

Yeah...definitely no need to be embarrassed. All sorts of things come up on these boards.
This is ever so slightly off topic, but one way my husband and I kept it exciting while TTC was for me to keep the chart secret and make a point of initiating sex even on days we weren't trying.
Make sure that you're making love while you're baby-making. Remember that sex is for bonding, too! Don't let one good escape just because you're focusing on the other.
