It can be hard when your doctor tells you one thing, then someone tells you that what you heard isn't true and so on. This is especially frustrating when you are still trying to find out what is wrong with you. Unfortunately, as much as we know about our endo, we can't tell you whether what you are experiencing is that, or maybe IBS, an undetected STI or UTI, or another gynaecological problem altogether. Everyone's experience of an illness is different and even having the same symptoms as a surgically diagnosed endo sufferer does not mean you are necessarily suffering from endometriosis. We are all here to support you, through your investigations, diagnosis and the grieving process when you finally find out what is going on. Even if it turns out not to be endo we will be there for you. Just please don't expect a diagnosis, there is a reason why medical professionals go through so much training, we are just here to support and sympathise., offer opinions and the friendly advice that doesn't need medical school xx
