Heee, gemini! Can you imagine, though! Going to the gyne. "Hummm. It's obvious that you have some bacterial infection. Let's do a culture." A week goes by, "Ahhh, ma'am, you've actually got a TB infection. We've never seen this before..." LOL. Crazy!

Also -- he's not being guarded now -- great! I swear if I see him at the grocery store tonight.........GRRRRR! The news says that he's currently in the hospital, in a private room w/ an ultraviolet light to kill the bacteria as it is sucked out of the room. His only sight of the outside is the side of a building and tables and chairs below. However, he is allowed visitors as long as they wear face masks! Ughghg. I'm thinking small room WITHOUT visitors! I'm curious as to where he contracted this strain of TB! Also, I wonder if he has other diseases predisposing him to infection! ughghghg

And more. Also from Yahoo! Health. _______________________________________ "A globe-trotting Atlanta lawyer with a dangerous strain of tuberculosis was allowed back into the U.S. by a border inspector who disregarded a computer warning to stop him and don protective gear, officials said Thursday.
The inspector has been removed from border duty.
The unidentified inspector explained that he was no doctor but that the infected man seemed perfectly healthy and that he thought the warning was merely "discretionary," officials briefed on the case told The Associated Press. They spoke on condition of anonymity because the matter is still under investigation."
