I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE reading and have always got like two books on the go, Im reading a book called "A brothers journey" at the minute which is by the brother of the man that wrote "A child called it" (if you havent read it, its a very moving book about how a small boy survived his vicious and abusive mother)
I recently finished "My sister's keeper" which was soooooo good! I was SO over whelmed when I finished it, I shut the book and cried!!! It is AMAZING!!!
Oh oh oh and before that I read "Moon on a stick" which was also REALLY good!!
Heehee Im so sad I could talk about the books Ive read for hours!!

Please do.. whilst reading these books i have all sorts of emotions going through me..and i curse and swear @ the abusers.
But it does make me think that what i am going through is nothing compared to having a childhood stolen ..these people have suffered so much and yet gone on to build their broken and shattered lives.

I've got a bit more into his brothers book and Im finding it really hard to keep reading.
He was only 5 at the time when his mothers was abusing David very badly but he (the brother) would create "crimes" that David had committed just to get him into trouble. He describes the attacks on David as "exciting to watch". I take my hat off to the man for being so honest, it must have been hard for him, but I dont know, I guess I cant imagine enjoying watching my sisters being beaten within an inch of her life.
It's hard to imagine living in such a cruel environment and he is obviously VERY ashamed of the way he treated his brother but surely he wouldnt have known any differently.
He describes the house as "eat or be eaten"... its just so sad. Get your tissues out if you read it Gemini !!!!!!

Wot am I reading? I'm reading WOT - The Wheel of Time, by Robert Jordan. It's a fantasy series. The author is working on the 12th and final book, but the poor dear is sick too. Illness is such a pain. The series has some excellent ideas and I'm thoroughly enjoying everywhere it's taking me. I'll be so sad when the story ends.
